Is it safe to say that China is at least 30 years ahead of India?
12.06.2025 00:51

So, if China were at all worried, like Hippomenes, that India would overtake them in this “race” that they are not worried about, then they will like Hippomenes toss some thorny crab apples* to distract the nattering classes in India.
Zeno’s answer: NEVER.😫
I generally don’t place a time scale on who is ahead or who is behind and by how many years in this “Game of Nations”.

What is so magical about 30?
There is no shame, if one wants to repeat the technology, that was developed by the pioneers such as Russia and the US. The guide book and protocols are all there to emulate (Copy).
Any suitor, who wanted to win speedy Atalanta’s hand would have to beat her in a race and if they lose, they would lose their heads.

Another Eco System, where you don’t have to apologize. 👏👏👏
Well for starters, “Vishwa Parihasa ” must run at a ‘faster’ pace than “Dung Po Pew ”.
Never understood what it meant, but now in the winter of my years, I now realize what that means. 😁

Thanks for the request Nagarajan Sir. Sorry for the delay, it is tax filing time.
Not true in many other areas of the country. 🙄
China did that and still does that too. And I can’t understand complaints by the US and Russians here.
What are some ways to improve speed in sprinting, running uphill, and long/middle distance running?
I don’t know. I know that if I were young, my sex drive would plummet, Viagra or not.
Space race- Technology in general.
India has a space program that seeks to reap military as well as civilian benefits in this so-called race which there is none.
And the plummeting birth rate in China and the aversion to marriage in China and even sex, among the young is increasing exponentially, seems to point to that.
Look instead at Pockets of Comfort created within your immediate environs.
Peace and good luck to all.
In my experience, British people are fat, ugly and arrogant. Why is it and can it be changed?
Anyone, who looks behind to see who’s on their heel. will befall the same fate as all the suitors of the lovely Atalanta in Greek Mythology, who was the fastest runner in the world.
Traffic on Roads. Well, experiences in India. 🙄
Not many will agree with Zeno, because he is a Mlechha Yavana Barbarian.😂😂after all.
How much does a doctor earn in Sweden per month?
Viswa Parihasa and Dung Poo Pew Parodox per Zeno
Let us assume that the Polity called “Dung Poo Pew ” is ahead of the Polity called “Vishwa Parihasa” in some mythical race.

Excellent staff from all over India. Amazing competence and professionalism shown by all from Doctors to Nurses to technicians, even the lift staff. 👏👏👏
AQI (Air Quality Index) Delhi and Beijing… stinks to high heavens. Equivalent to smoking two packs of cigarettes/day even for the non-smoker.
Give yourself an applause here. 👏👏👏
What's the most trivial thing that ever made you go to the doctor?
That is all that matters really.
Instead of giving GDP numbers, GDP/Capita and all those Statistics to make you feel good or bad, I decided to answer Nagarajan Sir’s question in the form of a long meandering discourse.
Now, it is an experience that is just as good or not as good as any Bank Office in the US or China or any where else.
When was the first time you felt discriminated against because you were female?
Many lost their heads, as they looked behind to see if Atalanta was gaining on them . Hippomenes was given a head start by Atalanta.
Give yourselves a round of applause. 👏👏👏
Also, what does “Ahead” and “Behind” really mean?
Don’t constantly engage in below the navel gazing, if you know what I mean and most of all Don’t Complain; or at least not so much.
Zeno of Elea, born c. 495 BC—died c. 430 BC
This paradox argues that Viswa Parihasa, a swifter than Dung runner, can never overtake the slower Dung Poo Pew, who has a head start by the way, because by the time Viswa Parihasa reaches the Dung's starting point, Dung will have moved forward, and Viswa must then catch up to that new position, repeating this process… ad infinitum.
Apollo… Yashoda
Another Example from Greek Mythology: Hippomenes and Atalanta race. [This is a warning to my country, the USA, really]
Here it is an Eco-system where both Dung and Vishwa seem to be competing for the race to the bottom of the well. 🙄
But is this what we want to emulate? I don’t know the answer to that?
Malls and Cineplexes in the US are dying… and descrepit (Thank you Amazon and Netfix) … So experience wise, you folks have it good. 👏👏👏
So, here is my proposition.
There is the Greek Philosopher Zeno’s paradox.
China is a polity; India is a polity. So far so good.
Coming back to Greek Philosophy this time.
The model that prompts such a question is based on a “Circus Maximus” model in which Chariot races were run in ancient Rome, where Individual Nations in this example, are run like Chariots. Some are ahead, while some are behind and we are all spectators here.
Beyond that how logical would it be for one to pick a number based on the number of trips, the Planet Earth makes around the Sun?
How long would it take for “Vishwa Parihasa ” to catch up with “Dung Po Pew”.
Hippomenes won the hand in marriage of Atalanta following a running race by distracting her by tossing “golden apples” whenever, he thought, she was gaining on him.
Nemawashi: Small incremental improvements, that make your daily experiences better in whatever “Ecosystem”, you have to interact with.
Poka Yoke: Make the design of the systems, so that even “village idiots” (there are many) won’t be able to make things worse in the Eco-system and ruin your experiences.
I land at Hyderabad or Bangalore Airports. The airports are spotless, well maintained, orderly and the people follow all the rules, the security is run smoothly like clockwork. The Uber and Taxi System is excellent and smoothly run. So is the Baggage Carousel, Immigration, Customs, etc. etc. WOW!
Brevity is the soul of wit, but what can I say… Verbosity is the soul of a Twit. And I admit to being Verbose.
What is the experience of an ordinary salaried family to living in this bee-hive?
It is the same situation, when I learn Newton’s Laws or Calculus. I can freely learn it without breaking much of a sweat. Use some else’s Gyanodayam for literally free.
I will even wager one of my shares in JD. Com ( a Chinese MNC) that most Chinese are not even bothered to see, if India is “lagging” behind them.
To Indians, Crab Apples are wild apples that are extremely bitter, but are used to make Apple Cider- an alcoholic beverage, much safer to drink, than polluted water, back in the day.
I’ve heard this proverb before: Fools build Houses and Wise Men live in them.
And it does not matter, if the technology was invented in Timbuktoo, Africa. Copy Paste, Repeat.
Look at each individual Eco-system within your immediate environs, that works in your land, in your local Area and if you are not discomfited, then all is fine. “Experience” is the key here.
So what I’m suggesting is that rather than constantly comparing and tearing one’s clothes in agony, employ what the Japanese call “Nemawashi” and Poka Yoke
So no harm for Indians to “copy” the technology obtained by sweat and tears and expense of billions of dollars or rubles over decades by the big Two.
This so-called race is in my opinion, a Phantasm, that only exists in people’s mind and I would wager that this Phantasm chiefly exists, it seems in India- which is looking at China with a mixture of envy and jealousy.
This begs the question.
You were “Waiting for your “Dough”
Hippomenes distracting the speedy Atalanta to win the race and also her hand in marriage
What is it that you folks wants to ‘Catch up” here??? Just asking not telling.
ECOSYSTEMS where the citizens experiences need to improve.
Would that be logical? Yes!
Again, in any urban setting in India, the Malls are an eco-system as good as any experience in China.
Maybe I should Poka Yoke and Nemawashi my writings as well. 😂😂
Any Bank in an urban setting, used to be the equivalent of the famous play by Samuel Becket “Waiting for Godot”, except back then in India, decades ago.
Airports: ECO-SYSTEM.
Malls and Cinema Metroplexes
But I thought, I would include it just for kicks and clicks. 😏
Petty Corruption. My mainland Chinese American friends, who travel back and forth to China assure me that petty Corruption is well and alive in China and the ranking by Transparency International, which monitors ‘perception of corruption’ in nations, ranks both India and China about equal. So that seems about right. 🙄

These Airports are an Ecosystem, where I’m far more ‘comfortable” and have a more ‘pleasurable experience’ than at La Guardia Airport or JFK Airport in New York $hitty. (misspelled intentionally).
The other factor is TIME. This is where the paradox comes in.
